在去年三月同时分别在几座城市展开演出（当时令我这个编辑相当纠结）之后，我最喜欢的两支乐队——北京后朋克乐队孤独的利里，与始终躁动顽皮的河南噪音摇滚乐队哥伦比亚可乐——终于得以同台，为我们带来了狂热的周日一夜——这得感谢太合（以及后来的兵马司）的主办。在过去几年中，前者已经成为中国最有影响力的乐队之一。凭借音乐才华和坚持不懈的心力，孤独的利里深入刻画了“当今青年的存在危机”，旗帜鲜明；而在这个过程中，乐队不仅坚守着他们的音乐风格，拒绝为更广泛的听众磨平棱角，反而更进一步提升声音的质感，使其更加猛烈地冲击着听众的心。

与此同时，哥伦比亚可乐把他们那独特而出格的噪音摇滚元素演绎得淋漓尽致，短短一年内就在乐坛树立起独特的地位。虽然一开始他们可能给人的印象是一支普通的噪音流行乐队，但只要你深入了解，就会发现这是一支在音乐性和创作内容上都散发着危险魅力的乐队，已经能预见到各大唱片公司正如饿狼环伺他们周围。在两支重量级乐队的夹击下，来自新乡的Muzzy Mum依旧能够让人难以忘怀；他们城市反乌托邦式的歌词与锋利的音乐才华自上次见面以来并没有失去锐气。星期天，愉快一天！

After competing against one another last March (much to this editor’s dismay) two of my favorite acts - Beijing post punk hustlers Lonely Leary and the ever-mischievous Henan noise rockers Colombian Cola Ltd. joined forces for a rambunctious Sunday night courtesy of Taihe (and subsequently Maybe Mars). 

The former has emerged over the past few years as one of China’s most relevant acts - tapping through bootstraps musicality and persistence into ‘the existential unrest of today’s youth’ unlike any other band. In the process the band has only doubled down on their sound, refusing to clean it up or refine it for boarder audiences, instead tightening the screws and allowing their sound to strike with surgical precision.

Meanwhile, Colombian Cola have turned their madcap, visceral and just-about irrelevant noise rock into sermon - developing cult-like status in just under a year. On the surface, the band might even come across as just your run of the mill noise pop band - both dig deeper and you’ll find a band thats electrifyingly dangerous - in both content and musicality. Can already smell the labels ravenously circling them like vultures. 

And despite having to be sandwiched being two mammoth live acts, it was great to catch up with Xinxiang’s Muzzy Mum - whose urban dystopian lyricism and sharp musicality hasn’t lost its edge since last time.
